На сайте проекта можно скачать выпуски различных радиопрограмм о музыке в формате mp3. Самые известные - "Музпросвет" и "FM Достоевский".
Проект "Радиоархив" создан для того, чтобы любителям музыки не приходилось судорожно вспоминать, когда надо включить радио, чтобы послушать очередной выпуск. Особенно актуально это тем, кто слушает радио через Интернет - не у всех есть хорошее соединение, позволяющее принимать потоковую трансляцию в реальном времени в хорошем качестве без запинок и остановок.

Благодаря пользователю Drema мы с гордостью представляем вам уникальный реликтовый Музпросвет середины лета 1998 года. Этот выпуск Drema героически спас для грядущих поколений, записав его c коротковолновой радиотрансляции на обыкновенную магнитофонную кассету. И вот, спустя 8 лет, передача всё-таки нашла своих слушателей. Качество ужасное, но это даже придаёт передаче определённый шарм - сквозь время и помехи мы узнаём, откуда пошла гнусная тендеция массово клепать ньюэйдж на стандартных пресетах. В выпуске рассказывается о аналоговом и цифровом синтезе звука, с примерами и пояснениями. Довольно понятно рассказывается, между прочим. Но книжку почитать всё равно не помешает, поскольку такие вещи трудно воспринимать на слух, без графического представления.

Рассказ про двадцатилетие немецкой рок-группы Mutter. Группа Mutter играет суровую мрачную музыку. Экзистенциализм этой музыки реален, он болезненный и острый. Но не чрезмерно серьёзен, и потому не является китчем.

Сегодня замечательная дата.
Во-первых, праздник трудящихся всего мира. А это значит всеобщий, если только вы не ленивый студент вроде меня, или не миллионер, прожигающий состояние родителей.
Во-вторых, вышла новая версия системы Drupal , на которой построен наш сайт. Версия 4.7 ещё удобней, и, будем надеятся, станет ещё более популярной. В перспективе это значит дополнительные возможности на сайте - например, голосование для определения рейтинга передач, или уведомления о новостях и комментариях по e-mail.
В-третьих, last but not least, проекту "Радиоархив" исполняется месяц, что можно считать маленьким юбилеем.
